From Switzerland,
a path to dental care in Turin

Many Swiss patients have already chosen our practice. If you are considering this option, we can start with your questions, your history and what you would like to address.

Let’s talk about your situation
Between Switzerland and Turin

A choice others have already made

Choosing a practice across the border also means wondering whom you will be placing your trust in, what the first appointment will involve and how to fit treatment into your life. These are practical questions to explore together with someone who listens to your situation.

For other patients living in Switzerland, Turin has already become the place where they look after their smile. It may be an option for you to explore too: to clarify a concern, discuss treatment you are considering or resume a course of care that was put on hold.

The starting point is what matters to you. Tell us what brought you here, which questions remain unanswered and what you would like to understand better. This initial exchange helps us prepare an appointment that makes sense for your situation.

A personal experience

In the words of someone who came to Turin

In her review, Joy describes looking for a dentist abroad and her experience at our practice. Her words offer a glimpse of that decision from the perspective of someone who made it.

I’m writing a little more than I usually would because I know how difficult it can be to find a dentist you genuinely feel comfortable with — especially when you are looking for treatment abroad. I came to Turin for dental treatment and honestly could not be happier that I found Dr. Buniato.

I’m writing a little more than I usually would because I know how difficult it can be to find a dentist you genuinely feel comfortable with — especially when you are looking for treatment abroad. I came to Turin for dental treatment and honestly could not be happier that I found Dr. Buniato.

What impressed me from the beginning was how thorough and transparent everything was. He takes the time to do a proper assessment, with detailed images and analysis, and then explains clearly what is going on, what the different options are, which one he recommends and what each option would cost. You are never left in the dark or simply expected to trust that someone knows what is best for you. You understand what is being done, why it is being done and what to expect.

That same care continues throughout the treatment. He explains what he is doing and what you may feel before each step, so you are never caught by surprise. You can tell that he is incredibly precise and genuinely cares about getting every detail right.

And the result exceeded my expectations. I had virtually no pain afterwards, despite expecting quite the opposite. The work looks excellent, but even more importantly, it feels completely natural. After dental work, there is usually some adjustment period — you notice that something has changed, or your bite may feel different. With Dr. Buniato, I had none of that. Everything felt completely natural from the moment I left the chair.

I was also genuinely impressed by the technical standard of the practice. The equipment and technology are on a level I have rarely seen, and it is clear that they are used with real expertise rather than simply being there for show.

The whole team is warm, attentive and professional, and you get the feeling that they are willing to take the time needed to do things properly.

I would genuinely recommend Dr. Buniato to anyone looking for excellent dental care in Turin. I’m very happy I found him and will definitely be back for my future treatment.

The dentist who welcomes you

Dr Gianluca Maria Buniato graduated in dentistry from the University of Turin. His background includes time at Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio in Madrid and the Implant Dentistry Program at the University of Zurich: stages in an ongoing education that brings together surgery, prosthodontics and aesthetics.

His further training in preserving and restoring teeth goes hand in hand with training focused on the tissues around them. In 2026, he attended the Continuing Education course on soft tissue management at implant sites at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, continuing his education in surgery and prosthodontics.

In the practice, this background translates into practical questions: what can we preserve, what alternatives do we have, and what would you like to improve? The Leica microscope and digital tools support the work when relevant. Function and aesthetics are considered together, taking account of the condition of your teeth, the limits of the case and your priorities.

From the details of a smile to the whole course of care

What you would like to change and what is worth preserving are part of the same conversation. These are some of the areas we can explore together.

A smile that feels like yours

Shape, light and proportions are considered in relation to the face.

Feldspathic ceramic veneers are developed through a shared design process with the dental laboratory. The starting point is understanding what you would like to change and which features of your smile you want to preserve.

Looking at the whole picture

When treatment involves several elements, the different needs must be considered together.

The assessment brings together the teeth, gums, bone and function. When indicated, three-dimensional CBCT images contribute to surgical and prosthetic planning, alongside the clinical examination and your priorities.

Caring for what remains

The starting question is what we can preserve.

The Leica operating microscope supports work on the tooth and its details, including root canal treatment. Assessing whether a tooth can be saved means considering its structure, history and restoration options: a course of care to discuss in relation to your case.
